Introduction

RocketSLO is a quality management solution that helps organizations in creating better software development processes and promotes constructive communication across teams.

At the core of RocketSLO is the "component," which can take various forms, such as a product, feature, capability, service, package, etc.

Each component is owned by a team responsible for keeping the component description up to date. Teams use tags and links to external resources to convey essential information about the component.

Teams establish the desired levels of component quality and sustain them over time. Quality is measured using Service Level Objectives (SLOs), providing a standardized way to describe aspects such as performance, reliability, scalability, etc.

SLOs are derived from metrics, and RocketSLO supports various metric sources like Prometheus, CloudWatch, SignalFX, Datadog, etc.

RocketSLO equips teams with tools to promptly respond to error budget burns and effectively communicate resolution plans to stakeholders.

Components are interconnected, forming a graph of dependencies that provides up-to-date insights into system architecture and organizational structure.

RocketSLO seamlessly integrates with popular DevOps tools and provides a robust API for custom integrations.
